The Covid-19 pandemic that has rocked the world certainly has had its lows.
But we can think of one thing in particular that has changed dramatically (and some might even say positively) since the pandemic started, and that’s the evolution of your workout. With the pandemic forcing gyms to shut down globally, it forced people to look at their workout routine; particularly what was working and what wasn’t.
Your Workout Routine Changed
A lot of you have recognised things about your workout routine that you might not have noticed before. You may have found you prefer a workout in the morning rather than your usual after-work gym evening routine. You may have discovered how important the gym really is in your life! You may have found that a Yoga Calm class before bedtime has become truly beneficial in your life. You also might have discovered that Boxing or Pilates really is your thing, or that 20-minute workouts are your sweet spot.
You Were Made to Move
What we do know is that people are made to move. In Australia, there were very few excuses you could leave your house during quarantine, and one of them was for exercise. That’s because we suspect the Government recognised that we as humans need to move. It’s a necessity for our health and wellbeing.
And you probably proved that to yourself during the pandemic. Yes, even between the indulgent snacking or cocktails before noon, we bet you had the desire to move. Even if it was a simple walk or an impromptu dance party in your living room, you instinctually had the urge to stay active through all of it; for your mental and physical wellbeing.

All of this adds up to this: we know that no two people are equal when it comes to what works for them, but we do know we are all the same in that we need to find ways to be active. We just have to find what works for us, individually.
