Premium Membership

Premium membership entitlements may be varied from time to time.  We will let you know of any changes via MyLocker or by emailing you.

Initial Commitment Period

Your Initial Commitment Period is 4 weeks from your first billing date. It will then automatically renew for a further two week Commitment Periods unless terminated.

Termination/cancellation process

To cancel your membership, please let us know in club at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday). If you terminate your membership within the Initial Commitment Period, your membership dues for the remainder of your Initial Commitment Period will be payable .

Freeze

To freeze your membership, please let us know at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday). You can freeze your membership from direct debit date to direct debit date. Minimum 2 weeks.

Cooling Off Period

If you change your mind within 14 days of joining, we'll refund any payments.  We may deduct any guest fees or personal training fees, if you've used our clubs or services.

Home and Away Rules

You may use other Virgin Active clubs in accordance with our Reciprocal Rights Policy. You must use your Home Club more than your Away Club.  Where a member is using their Away Club more than their Home Club we’ll ask the member to transfer to that other Club.  A transfer fee will apply

We will collect, use and retain your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy and collection notice found at virginactive.com.au

AIA Vitality Termination

You agree that if you cease to be a member of the AIA Vitality program, or, if we cease to be a partner of the AIA Vitality program, that your Membership Dues will be increased to the applicable Active Me Flexible Membership Dues at your Home Club from the next direct debit.  If you do not wish to accept the new Membership Dues, you have the right to terminate your membership.  Simply let us know in writing at least 3 days (by the close of business on Sunday) before your next direct debit date if you wish to cancel your membership.

Sharing of information for your Vitality points

As part of the benefits you receive as an AIA Vitality member you agree that we will share information about your use of our Clubs with AIA Vitality.

Group exercise bookings

To keep things fair, you can have 6 bookings at any given time. Cancel before 8pm to avoid strikes. Cancellations after 8pm and before 1 hour of the class start time incur 1 strike. Cancellations within 1 hour or no shows incur 2 strikes. If 6 strikes are incurred in a calendar month, maximum bookings at any given time will be reduced to 1 booking for 4 weeks. Members can still attend a class without a booking if there is a spot available. Please see Legal Stuff for our full class bookings policy.
