Important Legal Stuff

1. Cooling Off Period

If you change your mind within 14 days of joining, we'll refund any payments. We may deduct any guest fees or personal training fees, if you've used our clubs or services.

2. Freeze

To freeze your membership, please let us know at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday).You can freeze your membership from direct debit date to direct debit date. Minimum 2 weeks to maximum of 12 weeks.

3. Group exercise bookings

To keep things fair, you can have 6 bookings at any given time and 3 of these can be hot classes. These are the super popular classes marked on the timetable with a flame symbol. Cancel before 8pm to avoid strikes. Cancellations after 8pm and before 1 hour of the class start time incur 1 strike. Cancellations within 1 hour or no shows incur 2 strikes. If 6 strikes are incurred in a calendar month, maximum bookings at any given time will be reduced to 1 booking for 4 weeks. 4. Initial Commitment Period

Your Initial Commitment Period is 52 weeks from your first billing date. It will then automatically renew for further two week Commitment Periods unless terminated.

5. Termination/cancellation process

To cancel your membership, please let us know in Club at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday). If you terminate your membership within the Initial Commitment Period, an Early Termination Fee of up to $300 will apply.

6. Under 23s Membership $39 Offer

Join Virgin Active Australia on a 12-month Young (U23’s) membership between 12:01am 1 February 2026 and 11:59pm 28 February 2026 to pay $39 per week for the duration of your initial 12-month membership (Offer). To qualify, you must complete the membership sign-up process, including providing direct debit details, completing the health check/Health Commitment Statement, and paying any pro-rata fees. The Offer applies for the full initial membership term. The Offer is not available with any other offer and excludes personal training and other services unless stated. Available to new members and ex-members whose membership has lapsed for 30 days or more. Offer excludes Vitality memberships, Home Club memberships, and corporate memberships. Members under 18 must have a parent/guardian attend the club in person to sign the Membership Agreement and associated forms. Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. All membership contract terms and Club Rules apply. Virgin Active is not responsible for third-party reproduction of this Offer. Consumer statutory rights are not affected.
