Important Legal Stuff

1. Home Club Membership

Your membership will entitle you to use the facilities and benefits available from time to time at your home club. Virgin Active reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Home Club membership discount or membership type at any time in its complete discretion however your membership dues will not increase during your Minimum Commitment Period. A home club dues discount is not available with any other discount or promotion. Not available at Norwest and Bligh Street.

2. Cooling Off Period

If you change your mind within 14 days of joining, we'll refund any payments. We may deduct any guest fees or personal training fees, if you've used our clubs or services.

3. Freeze

To freeze your membership, please let us know at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday).You can freeze your membership from direct debit date to direct debit date. Minimum 2 weeks to maximum of 12 weeks.

4. Group exercise bookings

To keep things fair, you can have 6 bookings at any given time and 3 of these can be hot classes. These are the super popular classes marked on the timetable with a flame symbol. Cancel before 8pm to avoid strikes. Cancellations after 8pm and before 1 hour of the class start time incur 1 strike. Cancellations within 1 hour or no shows incur 2 strikes. If 6 strikes are incurred in a calendar month, maximum bookings at any given time will be reduced to 1 booking for 4 weeks. 5. Initial Commitment Period

Your Initial Commitment Period is 52 weeks from your first billing date. It will then automatically renew for further two week Commitment Periods unless terminated.

6. Termination/cancellation process

To cancel your membership, please let us know in Club at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday). If you terminate your membership within the Initial Commitment Period, an Early Termination Fee of up to $300 will apply.

We will collect, use and retain your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy and collection notice found at virginactive.com.au
