Important Legal Stuff
1. Rest of the Year Free NSL
Join Virgin Active Australia (St Leonards Exclusive) on a 12-month membership between 12:01am on 4 November 2025 and 11:59pm on 18th November 2025 and receive the rest of the year free (the “Offer”). From 1 January 2026, standard membership dues for your chosen membership type and club will apply. To qualify for the Offer, a joiner must complete Virgin Active’s membership sign-up process, including providing ongoing direct debit payment details, a health check, and paying any pro-rata fees. Virgin Active will apply the Offer to the member’s direct debits from the Membership Start Date until 31 December 2025, such that the member’s Membership Dues (or freeze fee) payments are discounted by 100% until that date. The direct debit collected on 26 December will include 7 days of full-price membership dues (from 1 to 7 January 2026). The first full direct debit will be collected on 8 January 2026. The Total Minimum Commitment shown during sign-up does not account for the free period and will be reduced by the value of the Offer. The total minimum cost of membership varies between membership types; please check with your club for the exact amount. The Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer and excludes personal training or other services unless expressly stated. If the joining member is under 18 at the time of joining, their parent or guardian must attend the club in person to sign the Virgin Active Membership Agreement and all related forms. The Offer is available only to new members who have not held a Virgin Active membership in the last 30 days and must be redeemed before midnight on 30 November 2025. The Offer excludes Vitality memberships and Flexible (3) month commitment memberships. The Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. All applicable membership contract conditions apply, including club rules and the completion of the Health Commitment Statement (available at your club). Virgin Active is not liable for any reproduction or third-party reproduction of this Offer or any misstatement or omission of information or Terms and Conditions related to this or any other Offer; such reproductions shall not be valid. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts any statutory rights as a consumer. All details are accurate at the time of writing.
2. Home Club Membership
Your membership will entitle you to use the facilities and benefits available from time to time at your home club. Virgin Active reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Home Club membership discount or membership type at any time in its complete discretion however your membership dues will not increase during your Minimum Commitment Period. A home club dues discount is not available with any other discount or promotion. Not available at Norwest and Bligh Street.
3. Cooling Off Period
If you change your mind within 14 days of joining, we'll refund any payments. We may deduct any guest fees or personal training fees, if you've used our clubs or services.
4. Freeze
To freeze your membership, please let us know at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday).You can freeze your membership from direct debit date to direct debit date. Minimum 2 weeks to maximum of 12 weeks.
5. Group exercise bookings
To keep things fair, you can have 6 bookings at any given time and 3 of these can be hot classes. These are the super popular classes marked on the timetable with a flame symbol. Cancel before 8pm to avoid strikes. Cancellations after 8pm and before 1 hour of the class start time incur 1 strike. Cancellations within 1 hour or no shows incur 2 strikes. If 6 strikes are incurred in a calendar month, maximum bookings at any given time will be reduced to 1 booking for 4 weeks. 6. Initial Commitment Period
Your Initial Commitment Period is 52 weeks from your first billing date. It will then automatically renew for further two week Commitment Periods unless terminated.
7. Termination/cancellation process
To cancel your membership, please let us know in Club at least 3 days before the next direct debit date (ie close of business on Sunday). If you terminate your membership within the Initial Commitment Period, an Early Termination Fee of up to $300 will apply.
