How do I access the Virgin Active App 

You can download the Virgin Active Australia App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store here. 


How do I log in to the app? 

Your mylocker login won’t work. Use your email address as your username and if it’s your first time logging in, tap ‘reset your password’ to create a new password. 

 

How do I access my digital membership card? 

Once you’re logged in, tap ‘Club Entry’ in the top left corner of the app. Your dynamic QR code will appear and all that's left is to scan it at reception to get in. 

Your membership card via Apple or Google Wallet won’t work anymore, so be sure to use the app. 


How do I navigate on the new app? 

There are two way to navigate. You can use the menu at the top left of the home screen to scroll to the sections or use the buttons along the bottom to quickly get around. 


What happens to my class bookings made in mylocker?

Your existing class bookings will appear in the app. Don’t worry if you can't see them just yet, any classes you’ve already booked are still locked in. So just attend your booked classes as usual.


How do I book classes at other clubs? 

If your membership includes access to multiple clubs, you can view and book classes at any of them in the app. Tap ‘Club’ in the bottom menu, then ‘Change Club’ to pick which club you want. Then, head straight to the timetable to book your class. 

 

How do I join a class waitlist? 

Full class? No worries. Just tap ‘Join Waitlist’ and you’ll see your spot in the queue. When a spot opens up, you'll be automatically booked in and we’ll send you a confirmation via email and push notification. 

 

Can I cancel a class that I have booked? 

Absolutely, go to ‘Class Bookings’, pick the class, and tap ‘Cancel’. 

To keep things fair, we’ve introduced a new strike system. If you miss a class, arrive late or cancel within 3 hours, you’ll get 1 strike. Once you reach 3 strikes, your class bookings will be restricted for all classes within the 3 day period. During that time, you can still book classes beyond the 3-day period or join same-day classes if there’s space available.


How does the ‘Invite a Friend’ program work? 

Scroll down on the homepage to ‘Share with a Friend’, copy your unique link, and send it to a buddy. They get a free pass to the club, and if they join a 12-month membership, you score a reward. Nice, right? 

 

How does the ‘Guest Pass’ program work? 

If your membership includes Guest Passes, on the homepage scroll down to ‘Share with a friend’ and select the ‘Guest Pass’ tile. Send your unique link to a friend so they can claim their guest pass and enjoy the club.

 

How do I join the new Virgin Active Rewards Program? 

To join the rewards program, you must download the latest version of the Virgin Active App. When downloading the app, you will be required to accept the terms and conditions of the rewards programme, otherwise you cannot use the app.  

You must also have an active Virgin Active membership contract, have no outstanding balance on your account and be 16 or over to be eligible to enjoy the benefits of the Rewards program within the new app.  

 

How do I book my child into Club-V? 

You can now book your child into Club-V via the app. On the homepage, scroll down to 'Kids' and select ‘Bookings’. Pick the club, date, duration, and start time, then drop your little one off at Club-V and enjoy some me-time. 

 

How do I access on-demand workouts? 

Tap 'Workouts' by scrolling on your home screen or by selecting the button along the bottom banner. Scroll down to explore workout options and tap ‘view all’ to see all options. You can use the filter tool to narrow your search. 

 

How do I see club activity and popular times? 

Tap ‘club’ at the bottom banner and scroll down to popular times. Explore club popular times by day and plan your next visit when it suits you best. 

 

How to share instant feedback? 

Tap ‘profile’ at the bottom banner and tap ‘submit feedback’. Pick the type, select your club, rate, and leave a message. Your feedback helps us keep improving the club, making the experience even better for everyone.

 

How do I update my payment details? 

If you need to update your payment details, head to ‘Profile’, select ‘Manage Account’. Tap ‘Update Payment Details’ to enter your new information. 

 

If I freeze my membership, can I access the app? 

If you freeze your membership, you can access the Virgin Active app but you won’t be able to use any of the functionalities. Once you come off freeze, you will have full use of the app again. 

 

What happens when I cancel membership? 

The app is just for members. If you cancel, you will no longer be able to login into the app.

 

Does the app cost me anything? 

No - The app is completely free to Virgin Active Australia members (data charges may apply). 

 

How do I update the app?

Already have the app? Make sure it’s updated to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play Store. That way, you’ll get all the newest features as soon as they’re released.
