Now here’s a challenge. Yoga classes in the strength category are flowing, dynamic and energetic. They will strengthen and tone your whole body, and you’ll probably even sweat. Power Yoga is a modern, athletic based Yoga practice with elements derived from both Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. Unlike Ashtanga, Power Yoga doesn’t follow a set sequence and therefore can vary greatly from class to class. Like Vinyasa, poses will be performed in a flowing sequence with a strong attention to linking breath to movement. Power Yoga is performed in a heated room.
