Now here’s a challenge. Yoga classes in the strength category are flowing, dynamic and energetic. They will strengthen and tone your whole body, and you’ll probably event sweat. Vinyasa Yoga is a sequence of postures taught in a flow by linking movement and breath. Controlled breathing helps you keep pace with the sequence, build heat and develop resilience in strong postures. You will focus the mind during this moving mediation to get a break from the busy distractions of life. Classes, although physically challenging will leave you feeling energised and uplifted: ready to take on the day (or week). Hot Vinyasa Yoga is performed in a heated room

Why is it good for me?

Strength, flexibility, toning and balance are some of the physical benefits of Vinyasa Yoga. This practice will also help to increase energy and vitality as well as building resiliance and the ability to stay focused and calm in stressful situations. Focusing on your breath will help to calm and centre your mind. A heated environment increases your pulse rate, metabolism and circulation. Sweating promotes detoxification and elimination through your skin. Heat produces a fluid-like stretch allowing for greater range of movement in joints, muscles, ligaments and other supporting structures of the body

What will I do?

You will perform a seamless flow of poses, connected by transitional movements. This flow is called Vinyasa and it links a breath with every movement. You will also perform some static poses, standing, sitting, kneeling and lying. You will bring attention to your breathing and aim to focus your thoughts. You will also finish the class with mindful relaxation

What should I bring?

We have all the equipment you need, including Yoga mats. But feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Make sure you wear comfortable workout clothes and something warm to wear during relaxation. During hot classes we require that you bring a Yoga towel, which we sell at reception. During Vinyasa Yoga, make sure you grab a block as you set up your mat
