The Gig:

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll increase the overall performance of the sales team by giving them the right tools, skills and knowledge they need to be successful. Along with getting new starters off to a flying start, you’ll be able to identify individual skill gaps and develop solutions to maximise the effectiveness of all sales team members. It’s about providing world class training and development throughout the lifecycle of our sales team.

About You:

In a nutshell:
-You’ll partner with the National Sales Manager to create a sales training calendar based on forecasted new hires, along with an upskilling program across sales and retention.  
-You’ll determine venues and logistics for training and organise all aspects to ensure everything runs smoothly 
-You’ll work closely with the people team to ensure training records are up to date. 
-You’ll conduct sales training delivery, bringing the energy expected from the Virgin brand, along with providing input on design and development of sales training materials to ensure value. 
-You’ll review and update onboarding approach for the sales team to ensure job readiness. 
-You’ll review performance with Sales Managers and provide support to identify gaps in skill level of team to ensure performance improved and optimised.  
-You’ll support managers on reviewing succession, coaching strategies and ability to develop and upskill team across sales and retention. 
-You’ll ensure that all Virgin Active’s policies and procedures are implemented and complied with. 
-You’ll conduct evaluations on training, including reporting on effectiveness. 
-You’ll provide coaching and ongoing development to members of the sales team. 
-You’ll support National Sales Manager with sales priorities such as recruitment, process audits and any key projects which will positively impact the sales and retention result

-You have 3+ years of sales (and retention) training experience in the health club industry.
