The Gig:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll deliver Virgin Active’s multi-channel marketing campaigns to ensure optimisation of results, through our unique brand proposition and differentiation from the rest of the industry. You’ll also keep our website humming, support paid campaigns, keep our prospects engaged and work closely with sales and club teams to drive lead and sales performance.

About You:

In a nutshell: 

You’ll ensure the effective delivery of the marketing calendar, on time and to budget. 

You’ll action creative recommendations based on insights (owned and paid) to optimise performance of the marketing funnel. 

You’ll manage the CMS to ensure the website is fully operational (campaign content updated, campaign pages built, website leads captured). 

You’ll write campaign copy for social, flyers, collateral, eDM’s and web pages. 

You’ll manage the end-to-end prospect EDM/SMS calendar including full implementation responsibility (modifying HTML, asset production, content creation, post campaign analysis). 

You’ll set up Google Analytic campaign tracking and analytics for all campaigns. 

You’ll provide support to member engagement programs through multiple channels to reinforce Virgin Active’s unique boutique positioning. 

You’ll liaise with club teams to produce and distribute marketing materials on time and to budget, while supporting teams with tactical lead generation activities. 

You’ll support the marketing team and wider business on creative concepting and content creation. 

All about you

You have 2+ years of relevant (campaigns) experience and a Bachelor’s degree. 

You have aligned experience. You’ve previously managed CMS and CRM platforms and have a track record of executing campaigns across paid social, paid search, collateral, email and website. You know what it’s like to work with a high-profile consumer brand.  

You are people focused. You get a kick out of making everything work behind the scenes to deliver marketing campaigns and make the website work. You have a strong commitment to output and are patient, level-headed and cool under pressure.  

You are self-assured. You write well. You speak eloquently. You’re known for your campaign execution and copywriting skill and you’re authentic when you express yourself. 

You are driven. You’re perceptive, you ask questions, and you strive to understand. You enjoy solving problems and work at pace. You don’t get flustered easily. You’re comfortable managing your time and can be counted on to successfully reach goals.
