Alwyn (the boxing magician)

Having worked in the fitness industry for a while, it was time to move into something new and fresh. When I found out Virgin Active was launching in Australia (and coming to Melbourne), I was so excited. From my very first experience I have really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and open culture.  

Our team is supported really well and we’ve always got great energy. We have regular team meetings and breakfast together has become a ritual! I love seeing the changes in our members and knowing that I am shaping their future. You’ve really got to love what you do when your alarm goes off at 4am!

 

Q: Favourite excuse for not exercising?

A: With two little ones, I’d say it’s the lack of sleep (4-5 hours per night has become normality).
